When women suffer, so does everyone around them.

The Hologic Global Women’s Health Index reveals the state of women’s health on a global scale.

For the first time in the Index's history, the number of women tested for cancer has declined. In Year 4, just 10% of women were tested for any type of cancer.

Women are struggling more to meet their basic needs today than at any point in almost two decades.

More than one third of women said they spent a lot of the previous day in physical pain.

About the Index

Hologic launched the Hologic Global Women’s Health Index — a multiyear, comprehensive global survey about women’s health — to help fill a critical gap in what the world knows about the health and well-being of the world’s women and girls. Conducted annually, the survey provides the most timely, globally comprehensive data from women’s perspectives on their health and well-being.
